About This Beer
Transient started by aging a balanced Imperial Stout base in a combination of Eastern Kille rye whiskey barrels and BLiS Maple Bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned the blend on vanilla beans, Tugboat coffee, and maple syrup, infusing the spirit-kissed beer with plenty of breakfast nuances.
Tasting Notes
Velvety sips course with a kaleidoscope of bittersweet baking cocoa and barrel character. Maple, molasses, and caramel notes mingle with hints of oaky vanilla, espresso, and a whisper of char. Dark chocolate and treacle tones linger past the finish, inviting you back for another taste.
