Fantastic. Unbelievably good.
One of the best beers I've ever had
A little less barrel than Brew 4K and a little less sweet then Brew 3K, but as always, this series is a tasty treat.
Very solid Barleywine
One of the best fremont brewing booze
Wow this has gotta be one of the best barley wines I’ve tasted. That being said, I haven’t had THAT many barley wines, but the ones I’ve had have always been top tier. I expect a thick boozy beer and this is exactly what I got from the Fremont 5K. It’s got that expected barley wine boozey nose, with a nice thick brown sugary English toffee sweetness that comes across to ease all your worries. I really enjoyed this one, a nice rich carmel thickness that one wouldn’t expect from any old average Barley Wine. The boozyness is a creeper and Fremont’s Brew 5K is conformed a sipper — a fancy one at that; like a sit by the fire with a nice tobacco pipe in a velvet jacket and a Irish setter at your feet, kind of sipper. If u’ve made it this far in my review, you’re probably sitting there with a cold 5K in front of you debating if you should crack that pretty green wax seal or cellar it — crack it! You bought two, right?
DEAR LORD IN HEAVEN THIS IS EXQUISITE. SO MUXH BARREL SO MUXH BARLEY. DECADENT.
still one of the best annual barleywines...look forward to this offering from Fremont every year
One of the best BWs out there.
One of the best barleywine beers you can get. Great body and not too sweet. Great toffee and raisin notes.
exceptional in every way. booze is hidden nicely. oaky, vanilla, caramel bomb.

Most excellent representation of the style. All caramel, vanilla, oaky, boozy perfection.
