About This Beer
You know that marvelous moment when you drizzle gooey maple syrup all over a stack of cinnamon-dusted French Toast?
The crew at Wiley Roots bottled that moment. And they call it Breakfast at Wiley’s: French Toast Oatmeal Stout!
To craft it, the brewers drenched this 7.5% ABV breakfast with a deluge of real maple syrup. Then they sprinkled it with cinnamon and swirled in vanilla for a flair of whipped-cream decadence!
Each fudged-up sip oozes with rich swirls of burnt brown sugar and dark chocolate. A malty backbone and a hint of sweet maple float to the top. It tastes like devouring a pile of fluffy French Toast and my WORD, it’s decadent!
Sweet Rich Silky Breakfast
Vanilla Maple Syrup Cinnamon
I was blown away by how much this tasted like real French toast. The flavors were perfectly balanced!
Perfection! I love syrup in stouts. This is not a stout with syrup and cinnamon - this tastes like French Toast in a can! It is beautiful.
love the touch of cinnamon on the finish
maybe one of the most French toast beers I’ve ever had. tasted like breakfast in the best way.
Tasted like French toast without being syrupy sweet.
Great maple stout. Not overly sweet.
Breakfast beer for the win!
very tasty. can taste the French toast
Flavors were super on point. Really tasted like French toast! Thought it could have been a tad more rich.
the cinnamon and maple syrup flavors mellow out the signature strong flavor of an oatmeal stout in a nice way really well done
Wow this is pleasant. Just like having a French toast breakfast…more syrup please! Delicious oatmeal milk stout with maple, cinnamon and vanilla. Hints of cinnamon, strong maple and vanilla nose. This is tasty. Should’ve saved this for breakfast.
a lot of Maple
It’s just as advertised. I really enjoyed the carmelized sugar taste and just a perfect touch of cinnamon.
Lots of maple syrup and fairly sweet with just enough cocoa and cinnamon to balance the flavors. Fairly light for a 7.5% Oatmeal Stout.
Aromas of vanilla with more muted cinnamon and maple. Full, slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Flavorful, sweet, maple and vanilla-forward. I dig it.
not a fan. maple is really there, but just too sweet for me
tastes like adult French toast!
slight maple. no cinnamon nor vanilla
