Very very good! I wish I had bought a case instead of just one. Smooth and roasty with the perfect brown ale mouth feel. Not too thick, not too thin. The chestnut flavor is delicious without being overpowering. Love this!!!
Very nutty flavor nothing else going on in terms of flavor still a solid beer
Gave this one to a Family friend in Utah, he’s currently researching where to find this cause he absolutely loves it
You can taste the nuts.
Loads of chestnuts just a bit over powering
We got this one from Tavour. Chilled for a while and poured into an imperial pint glass. Look: dark brown hue with a finger sized tan head that dissipated quickly and left a tan ring, leaving a very faint lacing that didn’t hang around very long. Smell: breads, a little nutty, hints of pine. Taste: breads up front, sweetness and a bit of roasted chestnut that died away leaving breads brown roast. Feel: light body, light tickle of carbonation. Overall this is a solid bready brown ale. We were not sure about the chestnut notes and overall doesn’t really make a presence. If you like sweet, bready brown ales this is not bad, but as far as a nutty ale, not so much. Cheers everyone!
Nice viscous beer with lots of flavor, just not my style.
Below average brown
Not what I expected but still good. Probably won’t buy again but maybe another nut would be good
Lovely taste of hazelnuts . But it did taste watered down
Great brown ale! Loved it.
Very good solid taste
Nice flavor, nutty, malty, good brown ale!
Very nutty and toasty. Nice warm flavors
Tastes like a mild green tea, not bad, but not worth buying again.
Was good. Just average. Nothing spectacular.
Not my cup of tea.
Nutty flavor nothing special about this one
Kind of a basic brown ale to be honest.
IDK. I just like a straight up brown ale.
Roasty yet smooth
Exactly what it says but too smooth for me.
Taste like dirty chestnuts with the skin still on them.
It was an ok brown ale..
Solid brown ale. Weirdly bitter at the start but then it was fine. I don't think chestnuts really have that much of a taste
Light and smooth for a brown ale
Nutty with some mild roast. Overall okay
A reasonable, basic brown ale with some chocolate and nut notes. There's a rather strong tannin-y flavor, especially once the beer warms a bit, that's a bit astringent and peculiar.
Fantastic brown ale Roasty Bittersweet The chestnut adds a chewiness to this beer Want to keep sipping, will have to keep an eye out for this one
Fabulously nutty. Loved it.
Was so happy to find something with chestnut and this did not disappoint!
It was good not a huge fan of brown ale, but I really enjoyed this
Bready and nutty
A really unique nut brown ale. Can't say I've ever had one with chestnuts before. It's pretty flavorful and smooth and pours much darker than picture, almost black.
Nutty and malty. Definitely a solid brown ale.
