Very very good! I wish I had bought a case instead of just one. Smooth and roasty with the perfect brown ale mouth feel. Not too thick, not too thin. The chestnut flavor is delicious without being overpowering. Love this!!!

Gave this one to a Family friend in Utah, he’s currently researching where to find this cause he absolutely loves it

Loads of chestnuts just a bit over powering

We got this one from Tavour. Chilled for a while and poured into an imperial pint glass. Look: dark brown hue with a finger sized tan head that dissipated quickly and left a tan ring, leaving a very faint lacing that didn’t hang around very long. Smell: breads, a little nutty, hints of pine. Taste: breads up front, sweetness and a bit of roasted chestnut that died away leaving breads brown roast. Feel: light body, light tickle of carbonation. Overall this is a solid bready brown ale. We were not sure about the chestnut notes and overall doesn’t really make a presence. If you like sweet, bready brown ales this is not bad, but as far as a nutty ale, not so much. Cheers everyone!

A reasonable, basic brown ale with some chocolate and nut notes. There's a rather strong tannin-y flavor, especially once the beer warms a bit, that's a bit astringent and peculiar.

Bready and nutty

A really unique nut brown ale. Can't say I've ever had one with chestnuts before. It's pretty flavorful and smooth and pours much darker than picture, almost black.

Nutty and malty. Definitely a solid brown ale.
