Tis not disappointing!! Smells one way, tastes another. Wofts of prairie onion and blue cheese. As soon as it hits your tongue you're better with a full cornucopia of fresh citrus chased by south-of-the-border mango. Am I doing this right???
Certainly there's citrus(mostly orange), but I also got a vegetal note on the finish which was interesting(not bad). Tasty, smooth, and plenty drinkable, but the fruit flavors were somewhat reserved and not as nuanced as I was hoping.
Overall pretty solid well balanced IPA. Not in the same caliber as some of the others they are putting out though.
Grassy as all get up with a pleasant splash of bitterness. Loving the Phantasm.
Kinda musty, The old seawashed lumber of the boat maker's basement. Smells of a recently opened bag of rice crackers. A lot like dry air, but with a nuance that reminds me of the coarsely smooth surface of sheet of nori. Medium aroma bloom. On further inspection, the notes of citrus and hoppiness subside to a sort of mellow, fermented tonic water.
As solid as ever from Anchorage.
i think it’s named Beached. A well balanced beer giving you dank, citrus, and onion flavors. Definitely not a NEIPA, in my opinion, almost an APA.
love this one. white grape juice, peach, light grassy/pine spiciness. signature Anchorage pillowy, chewy mouthfeel and sweetness.
A nicely balanced brew. Not too hoppy with a lovely aroma, but would like more citrus flavor. Yet I could happily sink a few of these.
wow. Fantastic taste. I saw the ratings and questioned whether it would be that good. it’s even better than the ratings!!
juicy and dank, can taste the phantasm
So not my style. I’m sure the young uns love it.
citrusy, dank and smooth with not too much bite. A decent IPA. Deserves 3.5 but I can only give it even stars.
love this, super solid.
such a good ipa. Anchorage never lets me down!
different from what I expected. a good all around IPA lots of citrus
Delicious citrus aroma, crisp and refreshing.
well balanced with nice aroma
beached…. this one has too much “r”
was not expecting this one to be so good. lots of flavor for an ipa
Reminds me of their Lines beer. A bit of a peanut butter taste
citrus, smooth, dank
Dry and hoppy. I love Anchorage Brewing.
Lighter IPA with vegetal nuance throughout. Drinks clean with the white grape skin flavor from the Phantasm breaking through on the finish.
Smooth with lots of citrus. Kind of a thick mouthfeel.
digging the phantasm
fruity and dank. another Anchorage winner
bright floral and citrusy
solid anchorage beer
Not bad. Nice and smooth. Nothing really stands out to me though.
very juicy and hazy
BEACHED. Daily corona battle. Beautiful CF Saturday edition. This is light and crisp, floral and citrusy and remarkably clean. Peppery finishing and just so Anchorage good.
it’s called Beached, but a great IPA
