This beer is exactly what it says it is. With a strong fruit forward flavor and a tart finish it’s incredibly drinkable and surprising how well the ABV is hidden. my biggest negative is how undercarbonated the beer was. It was borderline flat. Thankfully this style allowed for some grace in this area. Good beer but far from great.
Just what I want a sour to be: just enough sweet to counter the sour for a nice, quenching pour. It reminds me of IHOP Boysenberry syrup on a hot short stack of pancakes!!!
9.6% never would know it
Fruit masks the high abv - dangerous in a good way.
Doesn’t taste like jam from a jar and it’s boozy. Not sour, tart, or sweet. Well there is a Fenton sweet followed by boozy taste. Meh.
Could definitely taste the boysenberry. Wasn't overly strong, too sour, or too sweet. Plus the high ABV is a bonus.
should have used unfermented boysenberry
it’s really dry, almost tastes like a red wine
Definitely cool to look at!
solid sour with a clean finish and balanced acidity
Wish it was as awesome as the can and name, but not bad… Good tart and sour… Not too much… Wish it was a liiiiiitle sweeter…
Nah, one and done
very good. sour and refreshing.
super jammy, a lot thinner than I thought it would be. but still very tasty. on a super hot day this is a great choice.
really good and even taste not too little and not too much . definitely want these again for friends to try .
This one was surprisingly tasty. the flavors were unique, but still easy to drink
Great name but this was lacking
taste like a dry wine. very good
delicious bright berries, tart, refreshing, goes down quick.
This my jam! Taste like jam too!
good but kind of hard to solo dome a can
great fruity flavor with a good tartness for this fruited sour, and strong for a sour without being boozy
solid sour! boysenberry flavor masks the 9.6 %. a good sipper
not sure the how they packed that much alcohol into one can without tasting it, but one canned got me where I needed to be pretty quick.
