Boxer’s Revenge is a Jester King Classic. It’s the first barrel aged beer they ever made, and to this day fans clamor for its annual release!

Lucky for you, we snagged some of the 2021 batch of this beloved American Wild Ale!

“It’s a simple beer” Jester King says of their creation. “But that’s what makes it one of our favorites. It gets its complexity from the extended maturity in oak”.

They’re not kidding — the pioneers of spontaneous fermentation allowed Boxers Revenge to age for 3 whole years!

That’s 1,095 days of barrel aging, to accentuate delicate additions of barley and wheat, and a sprinkling of hops, all in the base brew.

From the time spent in-barrel, notes of salt water taffy, butterscotch, and vanilla wash across the palate with splashes of stone fruit. Lingering white grape notes finish the sip with quenching, deceptively drinkable ease. 

But make no mistake — Jester King’s flagship Strong Ale boasts an 11% ABV!
