About This Beer
For this vintage, the Stout specialists at Cellarmaker blended four Stouts aged 20 to 36 months in a mix of Blanton’s and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Then they added a bit of Barleywine aged in a Willet bourbon barrel for 21 months. Finally, the crew conditioned the whole blend on mountains of organic toasted coconut.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate nuances of dark chocolate coconut truffles to cascade through every silky quaff. Creme brûlée and whiskey caramel tones should accentuate it all before a decadent Mounds bar finish giving no hint of the 13.% ABV.
