The Taxman team started with their award-winning Deduction Dubbel, already rich with malty sweetness, raisin and fig notes, and caramelly flavor from candi sugar. They deepened its complexity by letting it slumber in bourbon barrels.

Dark brown pour, oppaque, spotty fine beige head. Malty aroma sinks into the bourbon barrel, warming, plums. Taste is chocolate, prunes, woody with some notes of bourbon. Bourbon more prominent in the aroma than the taste. Sweet, tingly, warming. Very tasty.
