About This Beer
City Barrel calls BOOM their “ballad to the world of Citra Hops” and that’s no joke, because this brew is like a love song to juicy IPAs.
They serenaded the whirlpool with Citra Incognito — an ultra-concentrated hop product — then dry-hopped the brew with Citra Hops before fermenting it in their Missouri White Oak Foeder.
Tasting Notes
This splendid Hazy is absolutely cuckoo with citrus all the way through. It’s built on a beat of juicy, zesty grapefruit and orange, while pineapple sweetness counterbalances the pithy, hoppy outro. And, like any good ballad, sipping on BOOM will fill you with a bittersweet longing for more.

Orange and yellow latex catsuits. A relatively thin, and stretchy substrate.
Orange juice, mango rinds, frozen pineapple slushy, and a grapefruit beach ball. Very tropical.
A tiny bit funky, and yeasty.

16oz can from Tavour. First time trying this brewery. Hazy golden pour with a one-finger white head. Citrusy aroma, orange juice, touch of grapefruit peel. Taste is a juicy citrus blend of orange, grapefruit and pineapple. Tails off at the finish and seems a little thin.
