Taking inspiration from one of the simplest yet most delicious cocktails — the Boilermaker — the Cali crew started this stunner with their fan-favorite Velvet Merkin Milk Stout. Then they loaded it in WhistlePig rye whiskey barrels the very same day the casks were emptied! So yes, you can absolutely anticipate some vivid expressions of spirit-soaked oak!
Tasting Notes
Look for decadent notes of cocoa and cherry to course through every silky quaff like a dark chocolate cordial. Nuances of crème anglaise and whiskey caramel should carry underneath, further obscuring the bold 12% ABV.
