A Note on This Beer
Try not to freak out Stout Fans, because today we’re bringing you an unheard of opportunity to taste two of Europe’s most celebrated Dark Beer masters in a single brew.
We’ve managed to get our hands on the 13% ABV Black Damnation II - Mocha Bomb!
This 4.21 BA-rated blend of Barrel-Aged Imperial Stouts from Belgium’s beloved De Struise and the Netherlands’ famous De Molen is like a brewery tour of Northern Europe in every sip.
Seriously, these are two of the most celebrated breweries in the region! De Molen owns 6 of the Top 10 Beers in the Netherlands on BeerAdvocate and The Independent called De Struise one of Europe’s “most influential modern breweries.” And now you can try them together!
Add a bottle of this to your cellar and you’ll become the envy of every Stout fan and European beer snob you know. Because unless they schlepped a case back from the brewery after their last trip across the Atlantic, they won’t have this brew.
Pop this bottle and prepare to be overwhelmed by roasty coffee, deep oaky char, and rich dark chocolate. Warming whiskey notes from 6 months in Jack Daniel’s Barrels add a slight sweetness that’s balanced by robust espresso from whole Columbian Coffee beans. The creamy-smooth mouthfeel leads to a dry finish that completely obscures the big 13% ABV.
Maybe you can’t make it across the pond anytime soon, but with a bottle of Mocha Bomb in your cellar it’s like you’re keeping a little piece of Europe in your beer collection. No plane ticket required.
