For the 2024 rendition of this beloved Barleywine, the brewers at 3 Sons started with a massively malty base beer, then aged it in Wild Turkey Rare Breed bourbon barrels for nearly 2 full years!
Tasting Notes
Look for seductive flavors of toffee, caramel, and candied dates snuggling up with nuances of roasty coffee and oaky vanilla. A kiss of whiskey on the back end should hint at the 10.5% ABV without giving too much away.
