About This Beer
To craft it, the Hidden Springs crew teamed up with friends at Barreled Souls Brewing. Drawing inspiration from the candy, they barreled (beareled?) a fudgy base, soaking it in nuances of whiskey caramel. Then they layered it with dark chocolate and pecans for all the flavors of the confection before taking it ever further with house toasted coconut and treacly maple.
Tasting Notes
Every creamy quaff is luxuriously thick and viscous, with chocolatier aromas erupting out of every drop. The taste follows, with flooding the palate with notes of fudge, pecan brittle, and vanilla oak. Subtle waves of maple carry throughout, further obscuring the 12% ABV.
