Sorry but I shared this with a friend and neither could finish it. Total drain pour. Would rate lower if I could.
Very well done! Not Founder's CBS level but good. Where is the maple syrup? It tastes like Log Cabin syrup
When I first drank this, I thought maybe maple + coffee was a bad combo. But I've had good maple and coffee barrel aged stouts. This one is almost undrinkable.
Love this brewery but this was a drain pour. Something went wrong with the canning process
Like others, I think something was up with canning
Fell flat overall, sippable but not memorable.
This one almost seems stronger than advertised. VERY boozy and heavy. The maple socks you from the start and coffee lingers. Not the best nose on this one, but minor complaint.
Poured it. Strange smell and it doesn't taste good.
This did not work for me at all. I get the maple but barrel is so sharp & abrasive it overpowers everything else in this beer
Heavy coffee, no barrel.
Maple that overrides the coffee pot n the beginning thought for sure I would love this one but something doesn’t work for me here. Thin on the barrel.
Not dumpable but something was off. Spicy but not in a good way. Better as it warmed but no better than 3.5. That’s generous.
no a fan
One of the only beers on Tavour that I’ve ever poured out entirely. Tasted like ponzu sauce. Not the best.
Add cream and kahlua to coffee.
