About This Beer
To craft it, the Mortalis crew started with their fan-favorite Thanatos base, though this time they aged it for 18 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned it on fresh, locally baked cinnamon swirl coffee cake for decadent hints of pastry in every sip.
Tasting Notes
Brown sugar and baking spices gorgeously mingle with whiskey caramel and vanilla oak on every thick quaff. Velvety chocolate and espresso nuances from the base flow throughout, like chasing a sumptuous, cinnamony baked good with a sip of java.

Intensely sweet coffee cake develops into cinnamon and booze, like fireball whiskey, then candied dark fruits and dark chocolate, the finish brings bourbon and vanilla. This crosses into too sweet territory for me, which is actually hard to do.
