A Note on This Beer
At 15.2% ABV, Avery Brewing’s new Bourbon barrel-aged, peanut-infused Nuttiest Professor Imperial Stout is one of the booziest peanut beers of all time!
An incredible booze level magnifies the flavors of chocolate peanut butter cups by DRENCHING them in bourbon. One of the world’s most precise barrel-aging experts, Avery labored for years to get it right; their head of R&D and Professor at U of Colorado, Travis Rupp made endless test batches before finalizing the recipe. Travis forges real toasted peanuts and chocolate by adding finely ground peanut flour to a sinisterly dark Stout base before aging it in bourbon barrels.
Shattering darkness lets off tiers of roasty toasty peanuts. A cloud of caramelized bourbon truffles hovers above the glass, drawing you in. Warming booze draws out the maximum pure peanut flavor. Woody bourbon oak amplifies the nuttiness before it swirls off into toasted vanilla and roasted coffee darkness.
The 45th release in Avery’s highly-limited Barrel-Aged Series, The Nuttiest Professor is also one of the most collectible Peanut Butter Stouts of all time. Now for a short time you can satisfy your cravings for deep candy bar nuttiness and epic booze in one tightly crafted package.
