About This Beer
To craft it, the Old Irving crew aged a rich base in a mix of Buffalo Trace and 13-year Willet bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned it on cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans. It’s so good, sharing some should immediately earn you a spot on the nice list!
Tasting Notes
Every black-as-coal pour should perfume the air with aromas of toffee and vanilla oak. Look for currents of cocoa rippling with bourbon caramel on the swig. Hints of dark fruit and woody spice ought to swim just beneath the surface, wrapping up the 15% ABV like a present under the tree.
