Insanely good love the Willett barrel and dessert notes
Excellent. Full of peanut butter, beautiful barrel aged aftertaste, nice and smooth, and a wonderfully high ABV. This is how you do a peanut butter stout.
Peanut butter goodness!
Not a fan
Its really smooth and a decent beer but I was expecting more of the peanuty notes.
The barrel is warm and pairs nicely with the gentle peanut. But I wish there was richness to this (it’s a bit thin) and more sweetness.
Peanut butter cup melted into a glass
A bit too heavy
Smells like a Reese's. Like that the barrel isn't heavy in this and overpowering the beer. It has a distinct peanut butter flavor that isn't fake tasting.
This is a a really really good beer. Just the right amount of peanut butter on the nose and tongue. Good boozy flavors. You can almost taste the Willett... I wish I had another one to age for a few years. This is a must try for any barrel aged beer lover.
Lots of PB and roasted malt, not much berry or barrel.
Wow! This is heavenly peanut butter with hints of chocolate in a glass. I hope they keep making this deliciousness moving forward!
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
A PB stout that actually TASTES like PB!
Good taste, a little thin.
Amazing! Pure liquid peanut! Great taste from the Willet barrels! Delicious!
Solid BA PB stout
Peanut butter for days.
Definitely a peanut butter stout!
Like art work in a bottle.
Peanut buttery and strong... very heavy...
peanut butter comes through well
Well balanced between PB and the stout itself
Chocolate, peanut butter, bourbon barrel aged brilliance. This is fantastic. So worth the wait.
Like liquid peanut butter in a glass! Notes of chocolate and barrel aging
The real deal. Nicely done peanut butter stout.
Peanut and barrel are well balanced
Great barrel notes to balance the peanut butter.
Heavy notes of peanut butter while the chocolate reveals itself once it gets a little warmer. The barrel is a bit lowkey, surprisingly smooth for a high abv stout, overall a good beer.
Thick and boozy, the peanut shines on the backend of each sip. Junkyard scores again!
Absolutely stellar beer; roasted peanuts on the nose that rolls into classic stout chocolate on the front palate...then BAM Willett bourbon smoke and heat that just lingers and lingers.
The peanutiest peanut butter beer that I have ever had. It finishes with a subtle bourbon barrel heat, but unfortunately it is a little bitter.
Liquid peanut butter with a nice chocolate on back end. Outstanding
Tastes as good as it sounds and smells!
All time great. If you see it, get it.
I love a solid peanut butter stout...and I’m usually disappointed. This however is about as good as it gets. Nice n boozy...heavy sweet peanut butter, followed by chocolate. Perfect flavor compliment. Best Peanut Butter BA I’ve ever had. Job well done Junkyard! Thank you.
A bit on the sweet side and the peanut butter didn’t come through as advertised.
I love this brewery. I think that the high alcohol content took took some of the flavor away. I had high hopes that just weren't fulfilled. It is absolutely drinkable just not what I was expecting based on the other beers I have had from them.
Amazing stuff!! You get the Butterfinger like smell upon opening the bottle, when you drink, it's like a combination of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and Chocolate Milk in a Stout body, with some boozy Bourbon Barreled goodness to give it some edge. The sugar content must be high on this one, because I got a massive headache from it for a half day afterwards. Hungover potential if you decide to be a dummy like me and drink the whole bottle yourself. But it's worth the discomfort.
One of the few PB stouts I’ve tried that tastes as great as it smells. Fantastic stuff!
Man that’s good. PB and chocolate notes marrying well in both aroma and taste. Excellent!
