A little too much cherry in this one.
The smell nails a cordial cherry candy. Body is a tad thin for my liking. The flavor is faintly of that of a cordial cherry. Happy it's not syrupy and overly sweet.
A good balance between cocoa and a bit of maraschino cherry. Medium to full body mouthfeel. Not quite cherry cordial but reminded me of the Cherry Tootsie Pops. An above average bourbon barrel aged stout nonetheless!
A little heavy on cherry
Cherry was nicely done, not sour or that medical cherry flavor. Nicely done
Smoothest aged stout I've had
Cherry, chocolate and cocoa. A bit thin, and I wish that there was more barrel character. At times the cherry seemed medicinal.
If I could give it a 10 I would
Too much cherry for my taste.
Chocolate covered cherry
Kind of a let down!
Just like chocolate covered cherries, but without the excessive sweetness
Chocolate covered cherries
Chocolate covered cherry with some hints of almond. Delicious!
Best beer I have ever had!!
Thin but I love the cherry!
Loved the cherry undertone - tasted like an old fashion
Sweet, Creamy, Cherry, Medicinal, Barrel, Brandy
Not too sweet!
Decent but the cherry notes were very artificial
Holy cherries, Batman!
Ultra rich and decadent.
good cherry caricature but boody is little bit light
Love the Cherry Brandy
Tastes just like Christmas
Cherry notes were a touch too strong for my liking. That along with the mouth feel would bring thoughts of cough syrup to my mind on some sips. Overall, a great stout but not exactly made for me.
