Bakery: Oatmeal Cookie
A Note on This Beer
I’m not a great baker, but that’s fine with me. I can turn to The Bruery whenever I need a delicious pastry!
These 7x GABF Medalists know how to bake — er, I mean, BREW a seriously decadent Pastry Stout. They’ve crafted a slew of delectable desserts, like Mounds of Coconut, Chocolate Rain, and Banana Bread.
And on today’s menu, we have quite the treat! Bakery: Oatmeal Cookie is a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout brewed with old-fashioned oats — made to taste just like the cookies ma’ used to make!
The brewers stuffed this mouthwatering 10.2% ABV indulgence with all the classic cookie fixin’s: warming cinnamon, tender raisins, and crunchy granola. It’s a full-bodied delight that expertly balances sweetness, spice, and warm chocolatey goodness.
I crack open the can, and fresh-from-the-oven aromas of cookies billow up from the silky pour. I take a sip, and it’s like I’m back in mom’s kitchen stealing tastes of the chewy, rich batter right off the spoon.
If you’re as kitchen-challenged as I am — or if you’re just worn out on baking all your own treats — what’s the harm in sneaking a can or two of Oatmeal Cookies for yourself, am I right?

I liked it. It was my first ever dessert stout. I enjoyed it and the flavor was nice.
I love these beers so much, truly delicious.
Taste like a liquid oatmeal cookie
Damn this tastes like an oatmeal cookie! Delish
So delicious. Like a Guinness with an edge
A touch tinny
Its not bad there was the hint of oatmeal mostly recommend to people who are hardcore fans of the oatmeal cookie.
Oh, how yummy! I would kill for an oatmeal cookie that tasted like this!
Drank half and used the rest in a beer loaf recipe of mine, both delicious. Very oatmeal cookie-forward and a nice bite at the end. Reminiscent of the holidays.
Daily corona battle. Homemade doughnut and Bruery deliciousness edition. Bruery is just ridiculous. Nailed this sweet cookie dessert beer, raisin sweetness, creamy vanilla.
Was enjoying this one until I spilt it everywhere. From what I had it was great
decadent and rich!
Super thick and velvety mouthfeel. Really strong on the oatmeal flavor. Aftertaste is where I get the bourbon barrel taste, along with the cinnamon spice. Can definitely tell this is over 10%, but really good on a cold night. Wish I got more!
The smell and first couple sips were fantastic. Then it started to get old and overwhelmingly sweet. Would have probably liked it better if it was a smaller serving size.
Compared to other stouts I've had, this one is pretty easy to drink and not too heavy. I usually buy coffee stouts and porters, so this was a refreshing take on a dark beer. Flavor came out very nicely and it was sweet and tasty.
Enjoyed this just like an oatmeal cookie not too rich
