About This Beer
To craft their Baked Apple Sour, Cascade Brewing took their Sour Wheat Ale base and aged it in oak barrels and foudres for an entire year. After that, they infused the beer with fresh-pressed, Oregon-sourced apple juice, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
Each sip is like a maple apple crumble! Crisp, refreshing apple flavors start the sip, with warming baking spices lingering on the back. The light sweetness of the maple cuts through after, leaving tinges of oak.
