About This Beer
The North Carolina crew started with a bready Brown Ale base made with a trifecta of local malts and fermented dry with their house Ale yeast. After that, they conditioned it on house-toasted Virginia peanuts and plenty of juicy raspberry purée for all the flavors of the classic sammie.
Tasting Notes
Nostalgic swigs start out mild, with malty bread crust and toast tones. Nutty notes grow by mid sip, followed by a spoonful of jammy bramble fruit on the end.
