About This Beer
The brewers started with the same bold base that fans know and love. Then they aged it in rye whiskey barrels and conditioned it on ancho chili peppers and figs.
Tasting Notes
Look for flavors of Baker’s chocolate and oaky vanilla topped with fig jelly and a drizzle of whiskey caramel. A whisper of chili heat should smolder in the finish, building with each smooth sip.

Just enough Ancho to cut through the sweetness of the figs. Love the interplay of the tastes

Parabola is always solid, but I was expecting the chili to overpower it here. Thankfully it's very restrained, and the fig note is slightly more present than I thought, which balances it well. I didn't have high hopes, but this really works.

The fig adds a mild sweetness and ancho a nice subtle spice. Additional flavors are all subtle. Drinks below its abv.

Dammit, I knew the ancho would most likely ruin this beer and now after tasting it, I can confirm that😩 Would’ve been great without the damn pepper.
