Hides the 12.5% reaaaal well, smooth drink!
Abv’s hidden with the sweetness
A bit boozy
Very smooth, nice fruit notes.
I ordered this, but never received it. I’m just rating and reviewing so it won’t be on my list of unrated beers anymore.
Bright tropical fruit aromas. Pretty smooth given the ABV, but there’s a nice little boozy kick. Definitely on the sweet side, but that’s expected with a quad IPA. The Sabro hops dominate and I get lots of pineapple notes with a bit of coconut too.
Delicious- Juicy, Hoppy and Strong
Creamy and some light citrus notes. A little bit of sweetness but does not taste boozy
Couldn’t drink it. Dumped it out.
Was very impressed. Got this more for a label for a bud who is collecting, thinking it’d be a bit heavy. Was realllly smooth for a quad. Wow!
Outrageously smooth and tasty
Please add this again...I very much enjoyed it!
Boozy on the nose, but doesn't taste boozy. It is smooth
Creamy and thick ipa odd hoppyness
Boozy, creamy, sticky sweet, dangerous!
Drain pour for me. Smelled like rubbing alcohol in a can glass. A little too overpowering.
I don’t even like IPAs but as a gamer I liked the can and got it so my IPA loving boyfriend could try it. And he, after tasting it, insisted I try it. Boy am I glad I did. This beer is amazing, smooth and doesn’t have a super hoppy aftertaste that I’ve come to associate with most IPAs. My boyfriend insists it’s the “steak of beer” and is upset I only ordered one can. 10/10 we both recommend.
Amazing beer. Great flavors
Interesting for sure. Definitely a slow sipper. Heavy boozy pineapple.
12.5 is very hidden
Lots of sweetness with a lot of citrus flavor. Nice brew but at 12.5% you can’t have a lot of them.
Solid imperial IPA.
Sweet with a punch of flavor
Good lord ..... monster IPA as advertised. If your aim is self destruction, start here
Sweet & smooth, clever can art
A strong hazy
Juicy, creamy, citrus, hoppy, soft
Melony sweet with hints of citrus and pine
Very smooth for 12.5%
Noticed mixed reviews on this, I absolutely loved it, pineapple notes, somewhat thick, sweet and alcohol extremely well hidden.
Very strong. Very delicious
Creamy, citrus flavor with only a hint of the 12.5%!
Love this! Pineapple juice bomb that does not drink like a 12.5% Quad IPA. So drinkable you could easily get in lots of trouble 😈
It's definitely a QIPA. The high ABV gives it an alcoholic aftertaste and too much malt sweetness for me.
Drinks pretty smooth for 12.5%
I would not make my worst enemy drink this beer
Juice 💣 for sure, definitely recommend
A beer so strong and sweet getting to the bottom was a challenge. 12.5 abv makes it worth while.
4.57/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.75 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.5 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a snifter. Look- Pale straw, hazy, average head retention, above average lacing. Smell- Pineapple, orange, melon. Look- Vibrant flavor, pineapple, ripe melon, clementine, sweet/boozy finish. Feel- Full body, soft, low bitterness, smooth, below average carbonation, sweet/boozy finish. Overall- Delightful beer with massive flavor.
thick and boozy. but so much flavor and sweetness to balance the bitterness
Not as boozy as you’d expect at 12.5% this quad is smooth.
Pours thick, pale, and hazy. Bright tropical notes on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel full of more tropical fruit. Very smooth for being 12.5%
Loved it. Easy drinking quads are the best.
Perfect selection of hops but think it was too ambitious to make this beer at such a high ABV. The adjuncts used to make the high ABV took away from what the hops would have added. However, I drank the whole beer and enjoyed the buzz.
Juicy and smooth, but getting a mild astringency in the finish (the only hint of the high abv).
Great body, flavor and finish. Fruity and smooth.
Classic Ingenious taste! I'm lucky enough to live in Houston and get their awesome releases on tap!!
As powerfully difficult as its inspiration (a plus in my book), but the error on the can irked me more than a bit.
Hard to believe this beer is 12.5%! The beer seems to dissipate on your tongue. No boozy after taste. It’s blackout juice for sure
Way too sweet. Difficult to drink.
Mainly bought this for the packaging. The flavor was definitely better than I expect, being a qipa.. a little difficult to finish but overall very good!!
quite strong, don’t get a ton of sweetness. wouldn’t order again, personally but I’d get it again if it was on tap
Boozy aroma, but very smooth and very little bitterness
booze forward and kinda danky for a NE, but what would you expect from a quad IPA? I love ABV, so I ain’t mad.
A smooth almost "sweet tasting" IPA. Being a quad you think you want to sip it, but it's so smooth you find you're at the bottom of the glass before you know it.
was not carbonated?
Boozy, with an artificial banana sweetness flavor
So so sweet. Interesting brew, but I was caught off guard by the sweet taste. The sweetness hides the 12.5% very well.
citrusy and creamy
Got this solely on the label. Pretty good too.
Overly sweet with a huge malt backbone. Hops are...preset. Not a balanced or even well put together beer. High abv is all that saw me to the finish line. A novelty beer in my opinion.
