Oat Cream? I had no idea it would make this beer so smooth. Love it!
The beer clashes. Simcoe and Nelson aren’t known for being very tropical hops. So the peppery and grassy flavors of both clash with the sweetness of the added lactose. Just didn’t work for me.
Pretty smooth little hint of fruit but nice finish
Creamy and sweet from the oats, nice hops on the back
Clean and smooth. Hoppy finish.
Very smooth for the strength
First off, props on the El Salvador references and homage. Secondary, really good beer. notes of pineapple, of course oats, creamy, pillowy, smooth. deceptively smooth for the ABV, definitely a must-try; and lastly I appreciate a brewery representing my country. props to an American Brewery for doing that. pRost
Probably one of the smoothest 8% IPA’s I’ve ever had!
Truly a great beer. Tasty with chocolate chip cookie dough, too!
It’s a solid 4 oak smoothness and slight grassy aroma
So smooth and creamy!!
Smooth, but bordering on bland/uninteresting given the hop bill and the adjuncts. Disappointed based on the brewer and description.
Hoppy, Grassy and Earthy flavors- Smooth finish
This was pretty good, not a good an of lactose in an IPA. But was good
moldy? tastes like a fat tire
Never had an oat cream until this one, but I'd like to try more. It was unpleasantly delicious
Notably smooth. Nice flavors.
