A Deal With The Devil Penta Oaked spent a whopping 50 months aging in FIVE different barrels!
It went like this: 6 year Old Fitzgerald bourbon, 15 year 1792 Calumet Farm bourbon, Heaven Hill 15 year malt whiskey, Sazerac rye, and finally Buffalo Trace 10 year mashbill #2.
Tasting Notes
That should translate to dense flavors of caramel and toffee tinged with subtle rye spice. Waves of vanilla, candied date, and fig ought to permeate every drop, leaving just a whisper of warmth from the massive 21.58% ABV.
