Can't even taste the alcohol
Was expecting a strong alcohol taste, but was pleasantly surprised by what I got. Would drink again
Tastes like an IPA, gets you drunk like scotch. A little on the bitter-er side of IPAs, not really my style, but glad I tried it
So I just had to try it. 4 levels here. 1 - smell is ok, nothing too harsh. 2 - taste is a bit harsh, but not bad, it’s grainy. 3 - aftertaste - really nice, solid citrus flavor. 4 - sitting with this than comes the grain again. At this ABV and size, I don’t think I’d go back to it - but for the experience it was worth it.
Very thick and sweet as expected. Surprisingly smoother as you finish the can, could be the alcohol.. lol
Surprisingly "light" for a 17% beer! Has a pretty bitter hop profile up front, but has a smooth, crisp citrus finish
Gives you a crazy head change .
Just wasn’t for me, did not like the hazy feeling I got from it.
Holy booze and bitter
Strong, piney, hoppy
Just booze and bitter
I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor given the ABV here.
When it comes to a quintuple this one is dangerous. Smooth, bold, and rich. Wish I bought more
Strong but still enjoyable to drink
Strong but enjoyable
Actually far smoother than I had anticipated .Not quite the hop bomb if you’re going by IBU or ABV. Quite nice, if only for the high ABV.
oh man, do i love this beer. smoother than you’d expect out of a 17%. i drink 2 and am zoning.
Surprisingly light for the ABV. Expected thick & sweet and definitely as not.
lost to the gods of beer shipping; a worthy sacrifice
booze booze booze, little taste
Unique and special beer. Citrus and pineapple swirl throughout the beer with an impactful bitterness that is tamed by the alcohol. Strangely smooth and drinkable for 17% ABV and 170 IBU.
definitely packs a punch … however the hops bring a fantastic flavor and bite!
