About This Beer
When we saw this Stout matured for 34 months in what he calls “very special Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrel,” we got EXTREMELY excited.
Tasting Notes
Kyle chose not to add any additional adjuncts so that the character of that rare cask could shine through unadulterated, and it works perfectly. Layers of whiskey-caramel, woody char, and oaky tannins weave a tapestry of barrel complexity on the palate. Ribbons of fudgy chocolate, brown sugar, and toffee carry underneath. And the ultra smooth finish leaves behind barely any trace of the bold 14.2% ABV.
