FAQs

When will I get my beer?

By default, we hold your beers as they add up for just over one month after your first purchase. We’ve found that to be an ample amount of time for customers to order a sizeable box of beers worth receiving. The more beer you order, the less you end up paying per bottle to ship!

What if I want it sooner? - Can I change my ship or pick up date?

Yes. On your account dashboard, under the purchases tab, there is a drop down menu that will allow you to change your ship date up to a month out from the current week.

When and where can I pick up my beer for free?

To save on shipping, you can drop by our warehouse and pickup your basket when it's ready:

Why can’t I delay my shipment for longer than one month?

While you may want to delay your shipment for more than one month, we strongly suggest you receive it sooner; enjoy beer while it’s fresh!

My current basket is marked for shipping, but I need to pick it up instead – how do I do this?

Simply log in to your account. There is a button on your account dashboard that allows you to mark you current basket for pick up.

We need at least 24 hours in advance notice to accommodate such a request. For example, if your beer is set to ship out on the coming Monday, you must notify us by the preceding Friday.

My basket is marked for pick up, but I want to have it shipped – how do I do this?

Simply log in to your account. There is a button on your account dashboard that allows you to mark you current basket for shipping.

Keep in mind that due to the irregularity of such requests, baskets marked for pick up and asked to be shipped will be sent out the following Monday. If your circumstances are dire (we understand, sometimes you just need beer), accommodations can be made at a higher cost.

Why can’t I delay my ship date?

If your basket is ‘closed’ or marked as “shipping scheduled” you will not be able to change your ship date. If you know that you will not be able to receive your crate, please contact shipping@tavour.com to make the necessary arrangements.

I was not home to sign for my crate and it’s been returned to Tavour. How can I get my crate?

We strongly recommend that you have your crates shipped to a daytime address, as they require an adult signature but sometimes that is not possible so we understand and will work to make it as easy as possible to get your crate to you.

If your crate is returned to us, you can either have it shipped again at a new shipping charge; or, local customer can also pick it up at the Tavour offices at no charge.

Returned crates will be held for no longer than 30 days before being restocked!

I will be nearby the Tavour office tomorrow. Can I pick up my basket even if it’s before the ship or pick up date?

Absolutely! – As long as a 24 hour notice is given, we’re happy to have your basket ready for pick up.

Why do you need my phone number?

We and our shipping partners may need to contact you when delivering your crate. They may call you to ensure your beer is received and signed for by an adult. As your crate cannot be left at your door unattended. We use email to contact you with most questions, but occasionally we may call you if we need to chat with you. We do not share your phone number with anyone other then our shipping partners for the reasons mentioned above.

How long will you hold my crate for pickup?

We will hold your crate for up to 90 days after you have been notified that your crate is ready for pick-up. After that point, the beers will be disposed of and there is no guarantee that we can fulfill them again, nor will a refund be provided. Please let us know if you are having difficulty making our pick up hours, or if you cannot pickup in 90-days for extreme reasons, and we'll happily find a solution for you.

Shipping Frequency:

  • Your order will ship 4 or 5 weeks after your first order to give you ample time to fill your box of beer and pay the least amount per bottle.
  • Want your crate sooner? Simply move up your shipping date through your account dashboard.

Shipping Terms:

By placing an order, the Buyer warrants that he/she is at least 21 years of age, and that he/she will be responsible for the shipment being received by a person at least 21 years of age. All goods must be paid for in full prior to delivery. All goods are sold in washington and the title is passed to the buyer at the time of the sale. All shipping costs, including insurance, are to be paid by the Buyer. Tavour makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import beverages containing alcohol. By placing an order, you authorize Tavour to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. The Buyer is reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages, which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Tavour, as a condition of sale, assumes no obligation and bears no responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any such permits or licenses. Therefore, the Buyer is strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought. The Buyer is responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due their state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
