  • What is Tavour?

    We’re not a beer of the month club. You only pay for the beer you want, and you have control over when it ships to you. To access our lineup of delicious, members-only beers, download our Tavour app for iOS or Android.  Every day, we will share at least two new highly rated independent craft beers with you on the app.

    How do I order?

    To purchase a beer, download the app to check out what's available right now. When you find a beer you like, choose your desired quantity and press “Get it”. From there, save your credit card information along with your shipping address and then hit "Claim Your Beer" to confirm your purchase. Pressing this button will charge your card and reserve the beer in your crate. There is no checkout process.

    Why is there no cart checkout?

    Each beer we feature is limited quantity and is usually unavailable within a few hours so we set it aside for you right away.

    How many beers do I have to buy in order to ship?

    Add as many or as little beers as you want to your crate. There are no minimums or commitments.

    When will my beer ship to me?

    Once you open a crate you can decide when you want it shipped on the "Open Crate" page. It will default to 4 weeks from the date you added your first beer to enable you to take advantage of flat rate shipping. If you want to enjoy that hop-bomb super fresh, move up your ship date.

    How much is shipping?

    Shipping is a flat fee of $14.90 (plus tax where applicable) and is charged when your box ships!

    Why do you use a delivery company I have never heard of?

    Due to old, outdated and archaic laws regarding beer shipping we are unable to use the common and most popular shipping companies that other businesses may use. Beer is classified differently than wine and spirits for shipping and this poses very unique challenges for us. If you ever have an issue with the delivery company reach out to us and we will help you! We definitely appreciate your patience and we just want to get you your awesome beer and support these amazing independent breweries!

    Do I have to sign for my beer?

    Deliveries require an adult 21+ to sign for your beers. We strongly encourage that you use a commercial shipping address in order to minimize missed delivery attempts.


  • I have a referral code, where do I enter it?

    Enter your referral code during sign up or on the "Payments & Credits" page of the app prior to your first purchase. You will get $10 in beer money right away. We still require a payment method on file in order to buy beer in case you run out of beer money but we will always use your credit first.

    How do I enter in my Gift Card code?

    Head to the "Payments & Credits" page of the app! Press "Redeem Gift Card or Referral" and enter in your code! We still require a payment method on file in order to buy beer in case you run out of beer money but we will always use your credit first.

    Can I see the beers I have paid for?

    Your app’s “Open Crate” page will show the beers in your crate. The “Shipped” tab will show all previous crates. You can also log into tavour.com and navigate to your account homepage to see the same information.

    How can I see the notifications for new beer?

    If you are not getting push notifications on the Tavour App for iOS or Android, check the "Notifications" page on the app or your junk mail folder for email notifications.

    How does the waitlist work?

    In the event we think we can get more of the same beer that has sold out within 30 days, a "waitlist" button will automatically appear in the app. Unfortunately we cannot always waitlist beers.

    What is waitlist exactly?

    If we get the same beer again within 30 days and you are on the waitlist we will automatically charge your card and put the beer in your crate. We process waitlists in the order that they are received. Waitlists are valid for 30 days, so occasionally, you'll see a beer pop up in your crate weeks after you had waitlisted for it. If you changed your mind while waiting, let us know within 3 days so we can set aside that beer to the next in line.


  • I want to remove a beer from my crate. Can I?

    Yes! You can cancel any beer within 3 days of ordering for a full refund.

    After placing an order there will be a cancel button next to the beer in the "open crate" page of the app. Please note, this button will only be there for one hour!

    If you still wish to cancel after one hour just email us at support@tavour.com within the 3 day window and we will refund you 100%.

    If you wish to cancel after 3 days, your order will only be refunded 50% unless there is an extenuating circumstance.

    Refunds will post to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days depending on your bank.

    I want to remove a beer from my crate but I do not have a cancel button anymore!

    Just shoot us an email within the 3 day window of ordering and we can take care of it for you!

    What if I want to cancel an order after 3 days?

    Orders requested to be cancelled beyond 3 days of ordering cannot be refunded unless under extenuating circumstances, such as moving outside of our service area before your orders ship. Without extenuating circumstances, cancelled orders will only be refunded 50%.


  • How long does it take for my beer to arrive?

    Barring any weather or covid related delays, once your beer has left our facility in Seattle, Washington shipping will take:

    East Coast: Approximately 7-8 business days
    Mid-West: Approximately 4-6 business days
    West Coast: Approximately 3-5 business days

    When your beer leaves our facility in Seattle, you will receive an email with your tracking information. We ship all crates to local carriers in your region.

    Once your crate arrives at the local carrier it will then be scanned in and your assigned delivery information will populate the same day or next day. Most crates are delivered within a day or two after they are scanned in by your local carrier. Please note that occasionally, large crates are split into multiple boxes and can arrive at varying times. The approximate times mentioned above are to receive the beer from the time they leave Seattle.

    I can't have my beer delivered to my work and no one is home to sign for my beer; what are my options?

    Depending on proximity, you may be able to pick-up your beer from the local carrier's shipping hub. Alternatively, you may seek out your local shipping service center to have them sign and hold your packages. Many of these service centers will charge a small fee per package. Contact support@tavour.com for more information.

    I will be out of town. Can I change the shipping date?

    Yes! Choose the week your beer leaves our facility in Seattle! You can update the crate ship date on your "Open Crate" page. You can also update your ship date on your account homepage.

    I missed my delivery! What should I do?

    Most carriers attempt delivery 3 times. To contact your carrier, their information is listed on your tracking link provided by Tavour. If your local carrier has informed you that your crate has been 'Returned to Sender’ or ‘RTS', it is very likely that it actually hasn't been sent back to us, but stored in at the local carrier's main shipping hub. Please contact support@tavour.com for us to contact your carrier for re-delivery attempts.

    My beer arrived damaged! What should I do?

    In the very sad case that your beers shows up undrinkable, contact us at support@tavour.com and we will replace the beer if possible or credit you! Please send us pictures of the damage so we can improve any issues in packing. We highly advise that you accept damaged packages from your carrier to prevent them from potentially getting sent back to us. This claim process can take 3-5 months and no party involved will be pleased. Plus, we want you to be able to enjoy the beers that weren't damaged!

    My beer is lost! What should I do?

    Contact us at support@tavour.com and we will work with the local carrier to figure out what happened! In the unfortunate case that your beer is considered missing, we will replace what is possible and refund the rest.

    Why can’t I delay my shipment for longer than one month?

    While you may want to delay your shipment for more than one month, we strongly suggest you receive it sooner; enjoy beer while it’s fresh and how the brewery intended you to enjoy it!

    I live in Seattle. Can I pick up my beers instead?

    Covid19 update: For pickups you must schedule one here! You must schedule a pickup for a date AFTER the "ready for pickup" date in the app. Please note, since we are doing this manually your app will not reflect this change.

    Please note, all crates "on hold for pickup" will expire after 90 days. This means we will dump out the beer and you can no longer pick it up :(

    I always want to pick up my beers from you, how do I set my account up to do that?

    On the "Account Info" page of the app mark your delivery preference as pickup. This will ensure that all future crates default to pickup when they are created.

    I will be nearby the Tavour office tomorrow. Can I pick up my crate even if it’s before the pick up date?

  • By placing an order, the Buyer warrants that he/she is at least 21 years of age, and that he/she will be responsible for the shipment being received by a person at least 21 years of age. All goods must be paid for in full prior to delivery. All goods are sold in washington and the title is passed to the buyer at the time of the sale. All shipping costs, including insurance, are to be paid by the Buyer. Tavour makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import beverages containing alcohol. By placing an order, you authorize Tavour to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. The Buyer is reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages, which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Tavour, as a condition of sale, assumes no obligation and bears no responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any such permits or licenses. Therefore, the Buyer is strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought. The Buyer is responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due their state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
