A Note on This Beer
A beer crawl stop in Queens, New York left one of our Tavour team members stunned and begging for more of today’s East Coast gem. Flash forward a few months and he’s doing a happy dance because we’ve finally nabbed ourselves some Transmitter Brewing!
And one thing you should know about our first pick from this brewery: it’s a lot of fun! Filled to the brim with apricots, W6 Apricot Gose sips like a can of Kern’s Peach Nectar with a tart and boozy spin.
It’s rare to see a Gose this thick with real fruit juice. Bright aromas of freshly-cut apricots and sweet mandarin oranges float from a cloudy peach-hued pour. Tart stone fruit bursts on the palate with a lemonade-like pucker and a smoothly-incorporated salinity. Subtle coriander blends with Lactobacillus’ tangy fruitiness before coming to a snappy, wheat cracker finish.
In the craft beer destination of New York City, all eyes are on Transmitter. Featured as a Draft Magazine Brewery to Watch, they’re taking the New York craft scene by storm with their unique collection of bottle-conditioned Farmhouse-style brews, many of which are only brewed once! Pour W6 in a tulip glass and drink it fresh.
