Zipline Brewing Co
A Note on This Beer
The brewers at Zipline tell us their ultra-juicy Tropicality IPA is best enjoyed at 47 degrees, but it’ll make you feel a lot cooler than that.
One sip, and you're transported to a hammock on a tropical beach with an impossibly juicy cocktail. The kind of concoction you’d sip from a hollowed out pineapple with a little paper umbrella.
Maybe that’s not the sort of brew you’d expect to come out of Lincoln, Nebraska, but the U.S. Open Beer Championship winners at Zipline have defied expectations ever since they opened. With Tropicality, they’re bringing white sand beaches and turquoise water to the heart of the Great Plains!
Don’t believe me? Grab a can, close your eyes, and take a big swig.
Even if you’re actually at your in-law’s house, you’ll practically be able to feel the ocean breeze, and the shrieks of your annoying nephew will sound like exotic bird calls.
It’s like a relaxing mini-vacation in a bottle!
Loaded with Motueka, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Azacca Hops, this juice is brimming with more pineapple-mango flavor than a Caribbean fruit farm. Papaya, mandarin, and lime all limbo across the palate while the big 7.6% ABV vanishes behind the pillow soft mouthfeel.
This is a beer that begs you to do nothing at all. Just take a sip and let all your worries drift away on a river of juice.
But don’t wait too long. This stuff rarely leaves the Plains States, and once our little stash is gone you won’t be able to find flavors this tropical without booking a flight to the Bahamas.
*For the juiciest flavors, serve at 47 degrees Fahrenheit.
