Weyerbacher Brewing Company
A Note on This Beer
Weyerbacher Brewing takes the chocolate cherry truffle notes of a world class Chimay or St. Bernardus Belgian Ale and spikes them with a not-tiny-at-all 11.8% ABV in their Tiny Belgian Imperial Stout. In this aggressively luxuriant brew, Weyerbacher shows us why they’ve won a World Beer Cup for Belgian Ales and areis famous for their high ABVs.
Their masterful choice of ingredients layers luxuriant Belgian and Stout flavors over a towering smooth boozy core. Dehusked dark Carafa III Malts and Chocolate wallop the palate with intense liquid chocolate notes and none of cocoa’s or Stout’s typical astringencies.
An authentic Belgian Yeast pulled from the legendary Chimay Trappist brewery releases the Bing cherry, sultana and Italian plum notes that set it apart as one of the fruitiest strains. A dose of wheat and oats soothe the high levels of alcohol, providing supportive additional complexities of the Belgian greats -- freshly cut tobacco and hay. And it is all wrapped up in a tight, fully bodied, creamy brew that seems to melt on your tongue like a truffle before dissolving into boozy fizz.
Flagrantly luxuriant, boozy, and obliteratingly flavorful, Weyerbacher’s Tiny is an occasion in a glass. It will make you feel regal from the first chocolate-evoking sip until the last drop leaves your fingers tingling with warmth.
