A Note on This Beer
Native to Brazil, Paraguay and Northern Argentina, passion fruit is revered for its exotic tart sweetness – from aroma to flavor, this pricey specimen has it all. But very few have captured this fruit’s unbridled passion.
Cue Reverend Nat and his super limited release cider … The Passion.
This fan favorite is back – with a vengeance! Sour and complex, The Passion is doused with the lip puckering power of passion fruit.
The 2015 version includes new additions of El Salvadoran-grown hand-toasted coconut meat and Mexican vanilla extract to soothe the snappy bite of Reverend Nat’s most extreme sour creation yet.
Like our favorite Sours and Berliner Weisses, The Passion is an aromatic thunderbolt of sour apple skins, kombucha and white wine. Each sip is a continuous dive into ripe summer orchards of apple, peach and tangerine. The passion fruit takes center stage with a sour-sweet buoyancy that makes the eyes pop. Vanilla spun coconut surfs the finish of this full-bodied flavor fest.
The Passion is only available for a brief window of time and this year’s vintage will never be repeated. It’s time to taste why craft beer drinkers, cider aficionados and novices declare themselves proud followers of The Reverend Nat.
