A Note on This Beer
If someone asked me, a week ago, what a Dimey Nickel was, I would’ve told them to ask the seedy character who hangs out on the street corner all day.
Boy, am I glad I didn’t have to embarrass myself like that! ‘Cause, as it turns out, The Dimey Nickel is a fruity-dank West Coast-style Imperial IPA from New York City!
Which I am MORE than happy to share with anyone looking for a rush of hoppy goodness!
To craft The Dimey Nickel, the NY Craft Beer Competition award-winners at Five Boroughs linked up with Fifth Hammer — an operation Thrillist calls one of the 10 Best Breweries in NYC Today.
Together, they brew this tropical treat to practically burst with flavors of ripe kiwis, passionfruit, and loads of piney dankness. It’s super clean and quaffable, and for anyone who’s a fan of dank, kushy flavors, it’s the kind of IPA to crush once the sun comes out.
But, getting this sticky-icky brew is tricky if you don’t have a NY address for the brewers to deliver to. Lucky for you, Tavour is here to bring the good stuff to you, wherever you are!
