Kings County Brewers Collective
A Note on This Beer
The saucy dame’s name? Tech Noir. And, of all the taste buds on all the craft fiends in all the world, she had to wash over mine.
She’s an Imperial Chocolate Milk Stout lathered in fudgy mocha flavors. A concealed 12% ABV and cherry cordial, plummy undertones make her more deliciously dangerous than she appears.
Even with the booziness, the bottom of the can came all too soon. I wanted more!
So I made my way to KCBC. Or, as local folks know ‘em, Thrillist’s Best Brewery in NYC.
I told ‘em I’d had a taste of Tech Noir. They gave me the facts straight — the rich flavors come from hefty doses of flaked oats, milk sugar, cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans!
They also told me that craft fans as far as Los Angeles were pleading for tastes of the smooth n’ sultry Tech Noir. But, like all KCBC sippers, she’s a tough find outside the Northeast.
Which is why I convinced ‘em, then and there, to fork over a stash for Tavour. Better grab at least a couple while you have the chance. If you’re like me, you’ll want to warm up multiple cold winter nights with a glass of chocolatey noir!
