Take a sip and wow! At the fruity intersection of sour, sweet, and salty, Everybody Brewing’s Barrel Aged Salted Sour Cherry Wild Ale lights up every taste bud. Brined cherries bring real salt pow, enhancing the tart and dark Wild Ale base that’s developed over 18 months in Port barrels (with sour cherries!) - and then another 12 months in Merlot barrels.
Gazing into the vibrant mahogany, you can see the influence of cherries and wine with glimmers of red garnets. A whiff reveals years of vanilla woody depth accompanied by brown sugar glazed cherries and dark fruits. Fresh shaved flakes of salt light up the well-developed apricot notes of wild Brett yeast giving you a novel Wild Ale experience that’s deep and rich, yet electric. Jammy plum marmalade, crushed walnuts, and caramel notes from wine barrels tail off into plush satisfaction.
For their Salted Sour Cherry Wild Ale, Everybody’s Brewing uses the truth that every foodie and gourmand knows: salt makes everything taste even better. Just imagine how amazing it would be to pair its jammy fruits with a platter of cheeses -- it’s a foodie’s dream come true.
