Something Soaring Juicy IPA #9
Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery
A Note on This Beer
Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewing is perched on a rolling green hill amongst 290 acres of sprawling farmland and forest. They’ve got hop fields, barley fields, horses, an ornery donkey, and a 9 hole disc golf course. They also have ludicrously juicy IPAs.
No wonder Paste Magazine praised them as one of 5 Distant Breweries Worth Epic Journeys! We could totally see ourselves wandering across their emerald green expanses sipping today’s limited release Something Soaring Juicy IPA #9.
Sounds like a fantastic afternoon!
We can’t make it out to Lickinghole nearly as often as we’d like, but sipping this super juicy Hazy sure makes us feel like we’re strolling around their grounds! If you wanna join us for a sip of fruity sunshine from Thrillists Most Underrated Brewery in Virginia, just crack open a can of Something Soaring.
Massive dry-hop additions of Huell Melon and Simcoe means this brew is dripping with strawberry, honeydew, and stone fruit. Vibrant tropical mango and juicy orange mingle with a light, grassy earthiness and a hint of resinous pine, completely hiding the 7.5% ABV. This brew tastes just like the breezes that drift across the brewery’s fruit-filled farmland!
So maybe you’re not planning to trek out to Virginia, but that’s okay. You can still be the first hophead on your block to get a taste of these Virginia craft wizards. And with a pint of Something Soaring in your hand, you may as well be kicking back at the brewery, munching fresh fruit and watching the birds flit from tree to tree.
