A Note on This Beer
The Oregon Beer Award-Winning crew at Portland’s Ex Novo crafted today’s Marryin’ Berries Sour Ale for one unforgettable reason — to celebrate the assistant brewer’s wedding!
Infused with tart and jammy marionberries and raspberries, it’s exactly the kind of bright and fruity sipper that promises an endless reel of smiles. And the mellow 4.6% ABV is so drinkable, the bride and groom won’t have to worry about getting blitzed and botching their “Thank You” speeches.
We didn’t make it to the ceremony (our invite must have gotten lost in the mail), but we imagine it was poppin’!
We’re picturing a banquet room full of craft fans raising their beer chalices full of this ruby liquid as live music pulses in the background. Maybe the dance floor was so lit, the groom even snuck away for a one-man-solo performance to “Thriller.”
At least we sure hope that’s how the night went! One thing’s for sure, though — today’s bubbly, berry-bursting Sour was in the hands of every jubilant attendee.
Brimming with sweet notes of blueberries from Mosaic Hops, Marryin’ Berries dances across the palate like a one-hop disco. The brewers add locally-grown Oregon marionberries, which taste like wild blackberries with a tangy twist. Ripe raspberries join the party for a dazzling pour that’s sure to inspire everyone from the caterer to great aunt Gladys to bust out in their best moonwalk!
Now’s your chance to turn up the dial on your next get-together.
Crack open a can at any festive occasion and celebrate Ex Novo’s Sour matrimony of hops and berries. Marryin’ Berries will have you feeling refreshed and relaxed while relishing (and remembering) every special moment.
Cheers to that!
