A Note on This Beer
Yakima Valley may have a funny name, but this stretch of fertile land in rural Washington State is where the world’s finest hops grow. IPA-focused brewers from all over the craft nation want access to the creme of the lupulin crop -- including Cincinnati's GABF award-winning Rhinegeist.
In September, Rhinegeist’s brewers met with hop growers in Yakima to pick out the freshest stash of hops for their brand new Knowledge Imperial IPA-- an intensely vid hop medley of citrus, pine, and tropical resin flavors canned FRESH on 9/22/17.
For Knowledge, Rhinegeist expresses the full power of what made hoppy beers beloved in the first place: Super pine and citrus deliciousness. They cram this 8.5% ABV, 98 IBU IPA with a hand-selected batch of Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Columbus Hops to layer in eons of grapefruit crush, resin marmalade, and even a lemonade snap of crispness. And because the beer was canned fresh just weeks ago, you’ll experience every drop of Knowledge as intended: As intensely as humanly possible.
The saying goes that “Knowledge is power.” In the case of classically citrus and pine Imperial IPA...power is truly Knowledge itself.
