A Note on This Beer
Stone’s been making IPAs longer than most hopheads have been able to drink, but they keep pushing hop-boundaries at every turn. So when one Untappd hophead called their brand new Idolatrous IPA the “Best Stone IPA I’ve had,” you’re damn right we sought it out.
Part of their “Hop Worship” series, Idolatrous offers a sacrifice to the hop gods with a truly West Coast one-two combo of resinous and sticky-pine-fruity hops. If you’re praying for some juice, you’re in the wrong place, pal. This IPA is a vengeful god of dankness.
Bow to your new Hop Idol: Mosaic Hops brings the “puff worthy” dankness of OG Kush, with a grassy, herbal bite and kiss of fresh pine resin; El Dorado Hops brings the summertime fruit soaked in liquor millions of candied peaches. Together, these hops are making Stone fans rave for that classic bite of West Coast power.
Stone IPAs have a reputation of being in your face, loud, and aggressive to drink. Idolatrous continues that tradition with a California resin punch. Do you worship at the temple of Stone?
