Loads of maple and cinnamon. Some vanilla sweetness. Exactly like drinking liquid french toast. A little heavy on the sweetness but still quite enjoyable if shared.
This is 100% french toast in the after taste. It lingers for awhile and is very nice. Unfortunately while drinking it, I get very harsh whisky and banana flavors that ruin the drinking experience for me. I wish it led with the same french toast flavors I get after and that it was a bit more mild. Definitely will get you tipsy with its high alcohol content.
Sweet and hits the right notes. Not too boozy
this was delicious. perfect to top off a dinner. it really gets that maple syrup flavor coming through.
Not my favorite but these brewers don't disappoint
Rich sweet cinnamon
Super dark, maple syrup up front. I get the rest of the spices after. It gets better as it warms up just slightly in the glass. Just wish it was a bit more carbonated.
syrupy a bit thick an chocolate like.
gooooood! smooth, creamy and thick. I get coconut in this.
Amazing stout with a great French toast aftertaste
Solid taste but not in my wheelhouse.
It’s pretty darn good. Lots of hype around this beer, at 12% it’s definitely a sipper.
Hubbard’s Cave does it again. Not to sweet, good balance, super finish. Cinnamon is prominent with maple taking a slight back seat. ABV is well proportioned showing it’s teeth just enough. Good stuff.
very very tasty, to get again, sweet, strong, my taste
Damn this is really good once is warms up a bit, heavy maple to it, not a lot of the other adjunct are coming through
Very sweet deconstruction of french toast. Hubbard's Cave does well with making sweet stouts.
i thought this was great but my girlfriend found it too bitter
This was so incredibly sweet that it was hard to drink more than a few sips.
Very tasty nice cinnamon and maple syrup taste.
it was so flat, probably because of the viscosity
