thick and tasty
This is a tough one to rate since whilst it is very good it is too sweet to drink in one sitting. Big banana, chocolate and dates with only the mildest hits of coconut and oak towards the end. Very sweet reminiscent of syrup in its sweetness and viscosity.
the flavors hit just right, with chocolate, banana and vanilla. you can drink it straight up or mix it and make some interesting Desserts.
does anchorage ever fail ?
banners for days!
Thick banana beer. Cocoa notes from the base and the coconut blends nicely. Vanilla not found. The oak detracts a little bit with overly dry woody notes, but overall very enjoyable
Very unique. Thick, sweet, so much banana! Doesn’t taste artificial to me at all. I could have split this with a friend though because it became overbearing by the end.
this shit is bananas. SO THICK!
decadent and over the top. bananas are definitely in the spotlight but plenty of bitterness to keep it in check.
Predominantly banana throughout no coconut maybe a little vanilla but still probably one of the best beers I’ve ever had with banana by far! A banana bomb!
yeah, it’s bananas
Chocolate covered bananas in liquid form. Damn! That’s good.
Banana is there for sure. It's pleasant on the first sips, but then the sweetness becomes unbearable. Not as much coconut as I'd like.
Sooooo good. Chocolate mixes with the banana and vanilla very well!
I hate bananas and I loved this - speechless…absolutely delicious
this was absolutely amazing. we even poured it over cherry ice cream, which brought out the coffee tones.
banana isn’t working for me
WOW! Best stout I've ever had, well worth the price!
Wow that is the strongest in both flavor and bite I've ever tasted from a dessert beer. I could barely sip it without being overwhelmed. Almost couldn't finish it but then a brother told me to make a milkshake out of it, and damn that was good. just this in a blender with vanilla ice cream and bam.
Just like all beers that I have had from Anchorage….BIG! All adjuncts are there in full, with the banana winning this contest.
this beer is thick and packed with flavor. it really tastes like you are drinking a banana and vanilla and chocolate, the sweetness is overwhelming though.
Taste is awesome. But man, so thick and sweet it was hard to finish the whole thing despite it being delicious.
a little to thick for my taste
secret recipe banana chocolate cake in liequid form. coconut doesn’t come through. dates. super sweet. this is the bomb! mouthfeel is perfection. gets cloying late on. name’s wrong here btw
Loads of bananas… but too sweet for my buds…
disgusting it tastes like beer mixed with teriyaki sauce
Going B A N A N A S for this one
Very sweet and smooth. An amazing stout!
Gdamn that's a lot of nanner upfront. Typical Anchorage stout depth of tons of oak & barrel and thick adjuncts. Decadent sweetness, nose and front are def nanner. Then coconut chocolate cake, tons of it.
Heavy banana, coconut and vanilla take the backseat. Extremely sweet
I feel redundant giving this brewery a 5 star because I'm running out of adjectives to describe how absolutely perfect each artisan release of theirs is. I've never had a reason to want to visit Alaska until trying these on Tavour, and now it's on my bucket list.
A little too sweet in my opinion but still, really good. Somewhere between the banana and chocolate is a sort of tangy taste, which clashes awkwardly with the sweetness.
I would say: If you like Banana Cream Pie = 5.0 If you don’t = 3.0 The banana is fantastic, the coconut is subtle, and the chocolate notes are sublime.
nailed the banana.
good but wouldn’t buy again
Amazing and worth the price!
Thick, lots of bananas. Missed the notes on everything else.
really sweet and thick with the bananas. a little overwhelming for my friend and me who tried this together. personally would not recommend but to each their own.
divine for a banana heavy stout
Holy shit BANANAS!!! Its thick as hell and phenomenal.
what a big boy stout. No gimmicks here... straight l, strong stout that'll warm you up nicely. a bit strong on the Carmel flavour but worth every penny.
this is bananas 🍌
impressive banana notes
too sweet unfortunately
the most banana forward stout I think I've ever had. thick, banana with chocolate to follow
not impressed. average beer
it’s like when you let the banana go to long that the fruit fly’s get to it and then you burn it with a brûlée torch
Syrupy, sweet, heavy banana
Bananas for days!!! Delicious and complex
straight up chocolate covered banana
bananas come through with a rich chocolatey overtone for the win.
sweet & boozey
very sweet, great banana
the beer is called “Into Nothingness” not End to nothingness…. lol
almost too thick best to share it around the fire
A whole lotta banana!!!
just too much going on, usually love anchorage and banana but this didn’t do it for me
Thick! Loads of banana supported by a healthy dose of coconut, vanilla and chocolate. Unashamed elevated sweetness, so time consumption appropriately
banana coconut Amazing
starts great. very thick and awesome banana flavor. stays a little too sweet by the end of the bottle. definitely one to share
drain pour. overly sweet and artificial
Awesome stout full of banana and richness. one of my favorites.
way too much banana for me
This is the best stout I've had. Creamy sweetness with almost no detectable ABV despite carrying a hefty 15%! Amazing.
the second best beer of all time
