New Image Brewing
A Note on This Beer
The lush tropical flavors and potent aromas of Simcoe and Idaho 7 Hops makes them craft brewing favorites. However, you probably haven’t experienced these hops in multiple forms — especially not all in one beer. And, almost definitely not one that comes with a massive 10.5% ABV!
Not unless you live in Arvada, CO and have easy access to New Image Brewing.
Not only did these mad hop scientists quadruple dry-hop Eject Mindcapsule IIPA with a whopping 13 POUNDS of Simcoe and Idaho 7 per barrel, but they used three distinct forms of these hops: traditional pellets, cryo dust, and terpene oil!
The vegetative hop pellets provide a base of grapefruit and pine dankness, while the extra potent cryo intensifies the hops’ passionfruit and apricot notes. The aromatic terpene oils help keep the flavors ripe and wickedly smooth.
While all that’s enough to make any hophead’s mouth water for days, New Image went a step beyond. They gave their creation a dose of Mosaic Incognito (highly concentrated hop extract) for berry medley undertones, brightening the tropical juiciness even further!
Colorado craft fans have already given this unicorn of a brew a 4.42 UT score. Okay, fellow hop fiend, need I say more?

Good, but too sweet for my liking.
A fantastic IPA. A little sweet, but not enough to take away what makes most IPAs great, that signature bite. I enjoyed every sip of this and was sad that I hadn’t ordered more.
This was fantastic and hides the abv well
Nice citrus nose and good mouthfeel. It’s just too sweet. Wish it tastes more like it smells.
I agree with other reviewers. I enjoyed the flavor but felt this was a little too sweet and missed the bite at the end that IPAs are known for having.
Smells of pineapple juice, tastes fruity with a slight bitter tinge
Think and rich in flavors great taste
A little sweet, but really good...and it has Mosaic (smh)
A mind blast of fruity hop flavors. Mouth feel and sweetness makes it seem like a juice but with loads of alcohol. The flavor doesn't stop with this one.
Got a lot of tropical notes in this one. Quite a bit of a Pineapple flavor for me. Solid brew all around and a very drinkable 10.5%
A little sweet but quite good otherwise
Tropical almost syrupy texture
Odd nose, decent flavor, nice buzz.
Texture was very syrupy
Bursts with tropical fruit, melon and juicy sweetness. A little burn at the end.
I am more of a fruit hop flavored IPA drinker. The high ABV had intrigued and I went for it. Overall smooth for the alcohol content but there was a taste that I couldn’t put my finger on. An earthy flavor. Not my favorite IPA but ine I would drink again.
Mind blowingly good
Fantastic- Layered, Hoppy & Citrusy- Delicious mouthfeel
Solid 4 smooth but sweet and I don’t really like the sweetness level
The taste lingers a bit on this one. Citrusy tang.
Big chewy body. Hoppy, citrus, smooth, bitter, it's a big beer.
Bit earthy for me, but this is an above average IPA. Just not my particular cup of tea.
