A Note on This Beer
A pod of Orcas are sighted just off the bow of the ferry, as it slides through Puget Sound on its way to Bainbridge Island. With commanding views of Seattle’s skyline to the east and coastal Olympic Mountains to the west, Bainbridge is the embodiment of the Pacific Northwest. But it was missing only one thing: a craft brewery.
In 2012, Bainbridge Brewing opened its doors and became an immediate cornerstone of the community. Their Eagle Harbor IPA is so well loved, stories abound of the taproom running through kegs within a few short hours. Fans of this beer drink it like water.
To meet the huge demand for its most popular beer, Bainbridge Brewing has finally brought Eagle Harbor to the bottle. This bottle release will finally give Eagle Harbor fans both on and off the island what they’ve been longing for: an easier way to enjoy their IPA of choice.
A Silver award-winner at the Washington Beer Awards in the IPA category, Eagle Harbor is a traditional Northwest IPA. Its hops are classically Northwest--Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo infuse citrus flavors and aroma with tones of grapefruit and lemon. Crystal hops give spicy floral shades to the beer, while Apollo supplies the bitter. Combined with Eagle Harbor’s pronounced malt build, the result is a clean finish after every sip.
Easy drinking and made to relax with, Eagle Harbor IPA is the postcard of Bainbridge Island you’ll want to bring home.
