bubblegum sweetness with a tart sour finish. smooth mouthfeel throughout. extremely drinkable
tastes like old school bubble gum… exactly what I was hoping. lactose is a nice touch. get this one again Tavour!!
Like concentrated Hubba Bubba flavor. Not great, but not terrible. Definitely unique.
Don’t expect a boozy version of the old Hubba Bubba soda from the ‘80s: Martin House never brings enough sweetness, so this feels slightly unresolved – and more sour than it probably is. A taster is enough. Better in concept than execution.
Light bubblegum aftertaste, tried out of curiosity. The can art was the best part.
tastes just like sour bubble gum
bubble gum nose. gumball head is better cheaper and more readily available.
Let’s start here… I truly mean this in the best possible way, don’t take this beer too seriously and you’ll enjoy it even more. When you crack it open the sweet, sugary bubble gum aroma hits your nose. Pouring it into a glass looks like someone liquified a package of Big League Chew, and added a cotton candy foamed head to it. All of that sweetness immediately goes away when the beer hits your lips. The juxtaposition of the sour is like a fresh handful of Sour Patch Kids in your mouth. As the sourness subsides the bubble gum flavor makes its way back to the palate, completing the oddly satisfying bubble gum circle. It’s a fun, drinkable beer made perfect for summer that treats the senses like a joyous day at the amusement park riding roller coasters.
Can't think of anything wrong with this. Especially the taste, Bubble Gum in beer, who'd have thought.
I got this one just because I was intrigued by the idea, and I was very impressed! Very distinct levels of flavors, from sour to wheat to bubblegum. This beer is the total package!
the best…. must buy
Remember Big Ted soda? Yeah...its like that but 0 sweetness.
I can see this being divisive, but for me: perfect. Weird. Delicious. Juicy Fruit taste with a classic bubblegum nose.
I'm not sure how I ended up with four of these - I usually limit myself to 1 or 2 novelty brews. But I'm not complaining about it. It's not an every day selection, but it has that nice sour pucker and almost a perfect bubblegum flavour following.
Not sure how I felt about bubble gum beer, but I’m glad I tried it.
Tastes really close to Hubba Bubba bubble gum without being very sweet, also has a solid tart after taste that lingers. Absolutely recommend!
Pros: beer tastes as advertised. Cons: the hubba Bubba flavor didn't really work. Real "I don't know what I expected" energy
Lives up to its name.
Yup, tastes like Sour Bubble Gum. Actually not too bad! I wouldn’t go out of my way to find it… but on a summer afternoon and nicely chilled….. it’s all right.
Tastes exactly like liquified bubble gum that’s been covered in Citric acid. Different, but good!
super super sour was not expecting that but overall delicious definitely not my favorite but would 100% drink agian
Interesting but didn’t quite deliver. They were on to something, though. I would like to try the next revision.
