A Note on This Beer
Brewers are master craftsmen of flavor. For years, Todd Scott, owner and Head Brewer of Montana’s favored Bozeman Brewery, has toiled to refine his recipe of the beloved Bozone Select Amber Ale. Now it’s the NABA award winning brewery’s flagship beer, has been featured in Draft Magazine, and its raw grain and hoppy flavor has become a staple Bozeman refresher.
Scott put his entire pedigree to work crafting this ruddy symphony of malts and hops –an education in the art and science of beer fermentation from UC Davis, a culinary degree and over a decade of professional experience from Napa Valley to the Big Sky range. And you’ll be hard pressed to find a Bozeman local who doesn’t sing its praises.
Showcasing the hearty, woody maple notes of Vienna Malts alongside the peppery citrus of Columbus and Santium Hops, Bozone is layered in harmonious flavor. Magnum Hops deliver a palate cleansing bitterness while late additions of Cascade Hops keep the grassy aromas bright and alive as you continue to drink. A base of Malted Barley and Crystal Malts lend a touch of sweetness to complement juicy highlights of hoppy ripe oranges.
Like artists of any other medium, brewers strive for perfection to make their creations the very best they can be. Scott’s Bozone pays flavorful tribute to the expansive, grand landscape he calls home. Getting a taste of this seminal brew is like tasting the rugged heart of Montana.
