A Note on This Beer
Hop Spectrum: Double Dry-Hopped with Belma, El Dorado, and Mosaic. Flavor Kaleidoscope: Juicy blueberries flow into bright, gushing mango and melon, backed with subtle citrus bursts. Orange marmalade makes for a memorable finish. Like a flavor rainbow!
My buddy Brian has Synesthesia, a condition where he can “taste” colors.
No, really — according to NPR, approximately one in 27 people has some form of Synesthesia!
I used to be totally jealous of Brian because tasting colors sounds so cool. But, thanks to the Tap NY Beer Festival Gold Medalists at LIC Beer Project, the rest of us can finally know what a whole rainbow tastes like!
Both Sides of the Rainbow DDH IPA swims with so much tropicality, it tastes like those flavor fiends harnessed every color of a Tahitian sunset and infused them into a tastebud-tantalizing, 8.5% ABV sipper. You’ll notice it washes down creamy-thick too, thanks to an enormous dosage of oats.
You’ll also realize why so many tri-state craft fans are hopping on the train to Queens and cramming into LIC’s taproom each weekend. LIC’s vibrant, flavor-packed brews even earned them a spot as one of New York’s Best Craft Breweries from Forbes!
Just be sure to stock up on extra while we’ve got this one smuggled out of the state. Whether they have Synesthesia or not, all your friends are gonna want to taste this flavor rainbow!
