A Note on This Beer
Bigfoot’s Favorite: This classic, resinous West Coast IPA is loaded with piney, pithy, citrusy flavors. It smells like an orange grove on the edge of a redwood forest! The Abominable Hop Bill: Simcoe, Centennial, and Columbus Hops piled higher than Sasquatch himself! If you like Pliny, grab this brew while you can!
I just saw Bigfoot standing in line at Seven Stills Brewery down in San Francisco.
It's true! He was waiting to pick up a bottle of their just-released Amongst the Trees Double IPA.
After all, it makes total sense that he’d want to check out Seven Stills. These guys are less than 2 years old, but they’re blowing up in the Bay Area. They had to open a taproom in their new brewery space before it was even finished!
Well I walked right up to that towering beast, gazed into his furry face, and said, “I knew you’d like resinous, pine-filled West Coast IPAs, Bigfoot! After all, you live in the forest!”
He kept saying weird stuff like “My name is Jeff,” and, “I’m just tall, I’m not Bigfoot. Stop touching my beard.” But I wasn’t fooled. Bigfoot was here for the beer!
Because who wouldn’t want to try a new brewery that already has people lining up out the door? Bigfoot sure did, and I’m betting you want a taste, too.
And today you have a chance at their latest IPA — we’ve managed to smuggle a tiny stash of this limited release out of California! That means you can be the one to introduce all your buds to Seven Stills — and you don’t even have to wait in line like me and Bigfoot!
Who, by the way, turned out to be a super cool guy. He told me he helps bottle at Seven Stills sometimes and he got to try Amongst the Trees before it was released. And it was so epically dank and resinous that he had to come back for more! "Reminds me a lot of Pliney," he said.
I was starting to believe he really was just a tall, bearded hipster named Jeff. But after we finally made it to the front of the line and got our bottles, he winked at me and said, “Oh, by the way, I prefer Sasquatch. Bigfoot isn’t really PC.”
This beer is too new for ratings, but Sasquatch gives it two big hairy thumbs up.
